Maithan Alloys said its wholly owned subsidiary, Impex Metal & Ferro Alloys, successfully switched on one of its two ferro-alloy furnaces at 7:00 pm on November 11, 2025; commercial production is expected later this month, while the second furnace is slated to be switched on within 5–7 days.
The company noted Impex had fully shut production by end-April 2023 and that the disclosure delay stemmed from the event occurring outside office hours. It also reiterated that the Scheme of Amalgamation of Impex with Maithan, approved by the board on May 28, 2025, is pending NCLT sanction.
Meanwhile, the shares of Maithan Alloys Ltd were trading 0.61% higher at Rs 1,112.10 on the NSE as of 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, following the company’s announcement about restarting operations at its wholly owned subsidiary, Impex Metal & Ferro Alloys.
