Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) reported a robust 16% growth in overall auto sales for December 2024, with total volumes reaching 69,768 units, including exports. This significant growth was driven by the strong performance in the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, which saw an 18% rise in domestic sales, clocking 41,424 units. The total UV sales, including exports, stood at 42,958 vehicles.
In the Commercial Vehicles segment, domestic sales accounted for 19,502 units, while exports rose sharply by 70%, reaching 3,092 units compared to 1,819 units in December 2023.

Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) also recorded a strong performance, with domestic tractor sales increasing by 22% to 22,019 units. Overall, total tractor sales, including exports, grew by 20% year-on-year, reaching 22,943 units.
The company attributed the positive growth to favorable market conditions, strong cash flow momentum from the Kharif harvest, and robust demand driven by favorable reservoir levels and Rabi sowing.
