LTIMindtree receives ESI demand order for Rs 13.28 lakh; calls it unjustified

LTIMindtree Limited has disclosed that it has received an order from the ESI Corporation’s Bhubaneshwar Regional Office dated March 24, 2025, under Section 45G of the ESI Act, 1948, directing the company to pay outstanding arrears totaling Rs 13,28,373, including interest up to March 21, 2025.

This follows a previous order dated November 13, 2024, for a slightly lower amount of Rs 12,98,900. The arrears pertain to delays in the payment of Employee State Insurance (ESI) contributions.

In terms of financial impact, LTIMindtree clarified that there is no material effect on its operations or financials and that the matter will be handled in consultation with legal advisors.
