Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a leading Indian multinational company specializing in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), has secured large-scale infrastructure contracts from both central and state government entities. The Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical of L&T will be responsible for executing these projects, which fall within the ₹2,500 to ₹5,000 crore range, classifying them as “Large” by industry standards.

One of the key contracts has been awarded by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the construction of the Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. The development will include two structures featuring a design of one basement level, two podiums, an upper ground floor, and six additional floors. L&T’s scope of work includes the complete civil structure, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services, external development of the site, and a five-year operation and maintenance period.

In addition to the central project, L&T has secured a contract from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the design and construction of the new State Legislative Assembly building. This facility will comprise a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors. The scope includes architectural design, structural construction, and all supporting services.

Both projects are scheduled for completion within 18 months, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting tight deadlines while adhering to project specifications and operational requirements.
