Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won an ultra-mega order for its Hydrocarbon Offshore business from a prominent client in the Middle East. The project, awarded to the L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore vertical, involves multiple offshore packages and includes a comprehensive scope of work—engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of offshore structures, along with the upgrade of existing oil and gas facilities.

This contract is classified as “ultra-mega,” which according to L&T’s internal categorization, means the order is valued at over ₹15,000 crore. The deal marks one of the largest offshore contracts secured by the company in recent times and adds significantly to its growing international project pipeline.

L&T’s Hydrocarbon Offshore vertical has a long-standing track record of executing complex offshore projects across various geographies. With more than 30 years of experience, the business has delivered a wide range of infrastructure including fixed platforms, subsea structures, and pipeline installations. It has also handled brownfield upgrades and decommissioning jobs, making it a key player in the offshore oil and gas EPC space.

The division’s execution capabilities are backed by in-house engineering expertise, large-scale fabrication yards, and a dedicated fleet of marine vessels. This combination enables L&T to meet demanding timelines while maintaining high standards in safety and quality.
