In a major resolution of one of India’s high-profile business family disputes, Abhishek Lodha and Abhinandan Lodha have settled all differences amicably under the guidance of their parents, formally ending speculation over the Lodha brand and business interests.
As part of the agreement:
- Macrotech Developers Ltd. (MDL), led by Abhishek Lodha, retains exclusive rights to use the brand names ‘Lodha’ and ‘Lodha Group’.
- Abhinandan Lodha holds exclusive rights to the brand name ‘House of Abhinandan Lodha’ (HoABL).
- Both parties have clarified that there is no affiliation between Lodha Group and HoABL, and both entities will actively communicate this to the public.
- Each brother waives all rights and claims in the other’s businesses.
The brothers extended special thanks to Justice R.V. Raveendran (Retd.), who played a key role in guiding the mediation, and to Justice Arif Doctor, for promoting the reconciliation process. They also expressed gratitude to family elders and well-wishers who supported the resolution.
The family also thanked the media for respecting their privacy and confirmed that no further statements will be issued.
