Lloyds Engineering Works Limited (LEWL) announced that its 88%-owned subsidiary, Techno Industries Pvt. Ltd. (TI), has secured an order worth ₹19.58 crore from Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited. The contract involves the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of escalators.

LEWL stated that the order fits into its larger roadmap for Techno Industries, which includes entering tier-2 and tier-3 regions, exploring industrial elevators, parking systems, and exports, as well as building its motors and pumps segment. The company said it is preparing to meet expected demand across these verticals by focusing on execution and operational scale.
