Lloyds Engineering Works Limited has announced that its material subsidiary, Techno Industries Private Limited, has entered into a significant agreement with Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC). The deal, signed on August 1, 2025, involves the supply and installation of escalators for the Central Railway network.

Under this contract, Techno Industries will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, supply, multiple loading/unloading, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of escalators at various Central Railway locations. The total value of the agreement stands at ₹23.10 crore (inclusive of GST at 18%), with the base contract value being ₹19.58 crore.

The project is expected to be completed within 24 months from the date the notice to proceed is issued. This agreement aligns with the government’s broader goal of enhancing passenger infrastructure and improving accessibility at railway stations across India.

Lloyds Engineering Works Limited holds an 88% stake in Techno Industries, reinforcing the significance of this project for the group. The company confirmed that the agreement will not affect the management or control of the listed entity, and there are no related party transactions involved.
