Lloyds Engineering Works Limited (LEWL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FlyFocus Sp. z o.o., a Warsaw-based leader in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and avionics systems, to jointly design and manufacture the Defender SIGINT UAV, a next-generation platform for signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic surveillance applications.
Under this partnership, the Defender UAV will be developed exclusively with Lloyds Engineering for India’s defence and security sector, ensuring complete localisation, technology transfer, and indigenous production in line with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.
