Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, known as India’s fastest-growing mid-scale and premium hospitality brand, has added two more properties to its portfolio with the signing of Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport and Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar. The expansion strengthens the group’s presence in both Gujarat and Uttarakhand, giving business and leisure travellers more fresh, vibrant, and value-driven stay options.
The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel near Surat Airport will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, while the Haridwar property will run under a franchise arrangement. Together, these hotels enhance Lemon Tree’s reach across two high-potential destinations that continue to attract travellers year-round.
In Surat, often celebrated as the “Diamond City of India,” Lemon Tree is positioning itself in a bustling commercial zone surrounded by thriving textile markets, diamond-cutting hubs, lively shopping centres, and emerging leisure spots along the riverfront. The location offers excellent connectivity, with Surat International Airport barely 1.6 kilometres away — roughly a five-minute drive — and the railway station around half an hour from the property. Once operational, guests can expect 110 modern rooms, a lively restaurant, flexible banqueting and meeting spaces, and relaxing recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and spa.
Haridwar, on the other hand, offers a completely different charm. Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels is coming up near the serene surroundings of Rajaji National Park in Shyampur, making it a convenient base for spiritual seekers and nature lovers alike. The hotel sits within comfortable distance of the city’s famous ghats and temples, while also being close to forest trails and wildlife experiences. Travellers can reach the property from Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, located about 49 kilometres away, or from Haridwar Railway Station, which is roughly 12 kilometres from the site. The hotel will house 60 well-designed rooms, a restaurant, a conference hall and a range of leisure facilities, including a spa, swimming pool and fitness centre.
