Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a new property in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The upcoming hotel will be operated under the Lemon Tree brand by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
The Lemon Tree Hotel, Itanagar, will offer 70 rooms and include a range of facilities such as a restaurant, bar, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, gym, and spa. The hotel is located approximately 25 kilometres from Donyi Polo Airport and about 12 kilometres from Naharlagun (Itanagar) Railway Station. It also enjoys road connectivity, making it accessible by both public and private transportation.
Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, is known for its historical and cultural significance. The city gets its name from Itafort, a 14th-15th century fort built during the rule of the Jitari Dynasty. The region is home to sites such as the Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, which highlights the tribal heritage of the state, and Gekar Sinyi (Ganga Lake), a natural lake popular among residents and visitors.
