Laxmi Organic Industries has entered into a Global Sourcing Agreement with Hitachi Energy Limited, based in Zurich, Switzerland, for the supply of an eco-efficient gas used in Hitachi Energy’s SF6-free high-voltage switchgear portfolio. The agreement, signed on September 9, 2025, is for a period of five years.
The five-year agreement underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial solutions. While the total commercial value of the contract is not precisely defined at this stage, Laxmi Organic Industries has indicated that its capital expenditure commitment under the deal is expected to be approximately ₹75 crores. The contract involves both domestic and international operations, positioning the company as a critical supplier in a growing global market.
Importantly, the agreement is structured on a standard commercial basis, with no involvement from promoters or related parties, ensuring a transparent and arm’s-length transaction. This strategic collaboration with Hitachi Energy highlights Laxmi Organic Industries’ capability to meet international standards in supplying advanced materials that support energy-efficient and eco-friendly technologies.
