KPI Green Energy Ltd has announced the signing of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a total of 620MWAC (917MWDC) of grid-connected solar and hybrid renewable energy (RE) projects.

Project Breakdown:

  1. 250 MWAC (275MWDC) Solar Photovoltaic Power Project:
This project was awarded through a competitive bidding process initiated by GUVNL, as part of their 500 MW Solar (Phase-XXIV) initiative. The procurement allows for an additional capacity of up to 500 MW without energy storage.
  2. 370 MWAC (642MWDC) Hybrid RE Power Project:
Similarly, this project was awarded under GUVNL’s 500 MW Hybrid RE (Phase-II) bidding process. It involves a greenshoe option for expanding capacity by an additional 500 MW, again without energy storage.

These projects mark another significant step in KPI Green Energy’s contribution to India’s renewable energy transition, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to reaching its ambitious 10 GW capacity target by 2030.
