KPI Green Energy Limited has signed a contract agreement with Coal India Limited to develop a 300 MWAC grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV plant at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The project, valued at ₹1,311.40 crore, includes operation & maintenance (O&M) services for five years and is expected to be completed by November 2025.

This agreement aligns with KPI Green Energy’s long-term vision to expand its renewable energy portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to achieving its ambitious 10 GW capacity target by 2030. The project will also contribute to India’s clean energy transition, supporting Coal India’s initiative to diversify into renewable power generation.

KPI Green Energy had previously announced its selection for the project in November and December 2024, and this latest development marks a major milestone as the company moves ahead with execution.

With this deal, KPI Green Energy further strengthens its position in the solar energy sector, benefiting from the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions in India.
