KPI Green Energy Limited announced that its subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, has received Letters of Award (LoA) for developing a 100 MW solar power project on a turnkey basis under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) module category.
The project, awarded by multiple industrial investors under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Policy, will include supply, service, and complete operations & maintenance (O&M) for the entire operational life of the project. It will be executed under KPI Green’s Captive Power Producer (CPP) business segment.
The company stated that the project will be developed in phases and is expected to be completed in FY 2026–27, as per the terms of the order.
KPI Green clarified that the awarding entities are domestic and that no promoter or group company holds any interest in the awarding parties. The contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
This development further strengthens KPI Green Energy’s growing portfolio in the renewable energy space, highlighting its continued focus on sustainable power generation and green infrastructure expansion across India.
