KP Energy Ltd. (KPEL) has successfully commissioned 25.8 MW of its 28.6 MW wind power project at the Vagra site in Bharuch, Gujarat. This milestone includes the installation of 11 wind turbines, reinforcing the company’s dedication to sustainable energy.
The remaining 2.8 MW capacity is currently under development and is expected to be commissioned within this month. With this expansion, KPEL’s total independent power producer (IPP) capacity has now reached 45.7 MW, marking a significant step in its renewable energy portfolio.
In the exchange filing, KP Energy shared, “We are pleased to inform that, out of the total project capacity of 28.6 MW, KP Energy has successfully commissioned 25.8 MW wind power project consisting of 11 number of wind turbines generator, at Vagra Site in Bharuch. Further, the development work for remaining 2.8 MW capacity is under progress and is expected to be commissioned within this month. With this successful commissioning, the Company’s total independent power producer (IPP) capacity now stands at 45.7 MW.”
