KP Energy Limited has announced the successful commissioning of 23.1 MW of wind power capacity as part of a wind-solar hybrid project in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The hybrid project includes a total of 23.1 MW wind and 25.69 MWDC solar capacity.
The commissioned wind energy component comprises 11 wind turbine generators (WTGs) manufactured by Suzlon. Each turbine is of model S120, with a rated capacity of 2,100 kW and a hub height of 140 meters.
These turbines are connected to a 140 MW power evacuation infrastructure located at the Fulsar site. The facility was developed to support renewable energy requirements for M/s. Aditya Birla Renewables Energy Limited.
This commissioning is a part of KP Energy’s project execution under India’s broader renewable energy initiatives, supporting utility-scale hybrid energy generation.
