Kings Infra Ventures Limited has recently informed excahnges about the sad demise of its Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Shaji Baby John. He passed away on December 14, 2025, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy in India’s seafood exports and aquaculture industry.

Mr. Shaji Baby John was widely regarded as a pioneering force and visionary leader who played a defining role in shaping the Indian seafood ecosystem. Through his close association with the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and several government and industry institutions, he contributed significantly to policy formulation, infrastructure development, and strengthening India’s global presence in seafood exports. His leadership helped position Indian seafood competitively in international markets.

Under his stewardship, Kings Infra Ventures evolved into a professionally managed corporate organisation rooted in integrity, innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. Known as a mentor and inspiration to many, Mr. John’s foresight, discipline, and unwavering commitment continue to influence both the company and the broader industry. The Board of Directors placed on record its deep appreciation for his invaluable contribution, leadership, and dedicated service over the years, while extending heartfelt condolences to his family and praying for eternal peace for the departed soul.

Following this development, the company convened an Emergency Meeting of the Board of Directors on December 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM to address matters arising from his passing. The Board noted the loss with profound sorrow and observed a moment of silence in his honour. A formal condolence resolution was passed, expressing gratitude for his exemplary leadership and service to Kings Infra Ventures.

To ensure continuity of operations and effective management, the Board unanimously resolved that, until further decision, the responsibilities, powers, and functions of the Managing Director will be undertaken by Mr. Baby John Shaji, Joint Managing Director of the company. The Board also directed the management to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of all business operations.
