JSW Energy Limited has expanded its renewable energy portfolio by adding 159 MW of greenfield wind power capacity in the ongoing quarter, taking its total operational capacity to 8,400 MW. The company made the announcement on March 4, 2025, emphasizing its commitment to meeting the rising energy demand ahead of the peak wind season.

With this addition, JSW Energy’s total wind capacity now stands at 2,826 MW. The company is actively expanding its renewable energy footprint and has approximately 8 GW of under-construction capacity. It aims to achieve a total installed generation capacity of 20 GW well before FY2030.

JSW Energy, part of the $24 billion JSW Group, continues to strengthen its presence in power generation and transmission, focusing on sustainable growth and value creation.
