In a significant push for sustainable mobility in the Middle East, JBM Electric Vehicles (P) Ltd, part of JBM Auto Ltd and a leading electric bus manufacturer, has joined hands with Al Habtoor Motors, one of the UAE’s top automobile distributors, to bring advanced electric buses to the UAE market.
The partnership was formalized in a high-profile signing ceremony attended by senior leaders from both companies. Under this collaboration, Al Habtoor Motors will be the exclusive importer and distributor of JBM’s electric buses in the UAE, ensuring nationwide deployment and robust service support. The move aligns with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative, aiming to reduce emissions, lower operating costs, and modernize public transport with state-of-the-art electric mobility solutions.
JBM Electric Vehicles is a pioneer in smart, connected, autonomous, and shared mobility solutions. The company manufactures advanced zero-emission buses and operates one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturing facilities in India, with an annual capacity of 20,000 buses. Globally, JBM e-buses have clocked over 200 million kilometers, transported over a billion passengers, and saved 350 million liters of diesel while reducing over a billion kilograms of CO₂ emissions. JBM has committed to achieving 3 billion kilometers globally within the next three years.
