Jai Corp Limited has announced that it has received ₹362.72 crore (net of tax deducted at source) from Urban Infrastructure Holdings Private Limited (UIHPL) on April 17, 2025. The funds were received as part of a capital reduction exercise undertaken by UIHPL.

In an earlier disclosure dated January 1, 2025, Jai Corp had informed exchanges that it held a 32% equity stake in UIHPL and was expected to receive approximately ₹364 crore once the capital reduction was sanctioned. This reduction was part of a broader restructuring effort after UIHPL and its subsidiary Dronagiri Infrastructure Private Limited (DIPL) monetized assets and returned capital to shareholders.

Specifically, DIPL had sold its 74% stake in Navi Mumbai IIA Private Limited for ₹1,628.03 crore. Following this, UIHPL initiated a reduction of its equity capital and planned to distribute an estimated ₹3,746.87 crore to shareholders, including Jai Corp.

This payout strengthens Jai Corp’s liquidity position and reflects successful execution of capital restructuring strategies at its associate entity.
