Bengaluru-based IzmoMicro, a division of Izmo Ltd., on Tuesday announced a significant milestone in its R&D journey with the launch of a new high-performance motor control system. The innovation is designed for use in demanding industrial applications, electric vehicles (EVs), and next-generation energy solutions.
The company has developed a Galvanic Isolated Hex Bridge Inverter with integrated controller and drivers for three-phase Servo/BLDC motors. This advanced system can deliver 100 amps of continuous current at 48 VDC while ensuring galvanic isolation for enhanced safety and reliability. According to the company, the technology has already been shipped to a major public sector manufacturer, demonstrating its performance in mission-critical, real-world applications.
Sanctioned as a BLDC motor controller, the product aims to meet the growing need for compact, efficient, and safe motor control solutions in sectors such as industrial automation, robotics, aerospace, and defense. The company noted that the inverter’s design integrates power electronics, thermal stability, EMI suppression, and safety engineering into a single package.
Sanjay Soni, Managing Director of Izmo Ltd., stated that the development is “an important milestone for IzmoMicro, bringing together expertise in power electronics, systems design, and advanced manufacturing,” adding that such innovations will play a crucial role in strengthening India’s EV and industrial ecosystems.
IzmoMicro is positioning itself as a leading R&D center for advanced semiconductor packaging and system design. With this launch, the firm plans to scale production across automotive, automation, and energy industries, while expanding its manufacturing capacity to meet rising demand.
The announcement comes amid rapid growth in the global power electronics market, projected to surpass USD 40 billion by 2030. India’s EV sector, expected to grow at a 49% CAGR between 2023 and 2030, will particularly benefit from such high-efficiency motor control solutions.
