IRCON International Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Meghalaya Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Limited, Shillong, for a major infrastructure project valued at ₹510.47 crore.
The order covers the construction of Eklavya Model Residential Schools at eight different locations across the state of Meghalaya. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) under Package-II. The project is expected to be executed over a period of 36 months.
This project win is another addition to IRCON’s growing order book and reflects its strong execution capabilities in social and educational infrastructure. The Eklavya Model Residential Schools initiative is part of a government-led effort to provide high-quality educational facilities in tribal and rural regions, thereby supporting inclusive development.
IRCON clarified that this is a domestic contract, awarded on EPC basis, and does not involve any related party transactions. The company also confirmed that neither its promoters nor group entities have any direct or indirect interest in the awarding authority.
With a proven track record in executing large-scale railway, highway, and civil works, IRCON continues to strengthen its presence in diversified infrastructure segments.
