Ircon International Limited (IRCON), in a joint venture (JV) with AMRIL, has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract by the Office of the Project Director, Externally Aided Projects (EAP), Public Works Department (PWD), Manipur. The contract involves the construction of rigid pavement and lined drains for selected roads under the Imphal East Division (ED-2), Package 3. This project spans a total road length of 122.209 km.

The contract, valued at INR 631.20 crore (IRCON’s share amounting to INR 164.11 crore), is awarded on a domestic basis and is expected to be executed within 36 months. This development highlights IRCON’s expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects, contributing significantly to improving road infrastructure in the region.

The project is an important part of the government’s efforts to upgrade road networks and enhance connectivity in Manipur. IRCON’s role in the JV is set at a 26% share, with AMRIL holding the majority share of 74%.

In the meantime, Ircon International shares closed at today ₹204.00. The stock opened at ₹196.10, reached a high of ₹205.91, and touched a low of ₹195.10 during the day. Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has seen a high of ₹351.60 and a low of ₹175.25, reflecting notable volatility.
