IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited announced that its Board of Directors has approved an investment of up to Rs 753.48 crore in units of the IRB InvIT Fund through a preferential issue. The decision was taken during the board meeting held on October 8, 2025, which commenced at 6:00 PM and concluded at 6:26 PM.
According to the company’s filing, the investment will be made at a price of Rs 62.95 per unit, amounting to a total acquisition of 11.96 crore additional units. The move aims to enable the IRB InvIT Fund to raise capital for acquiring three project SPVs from the IRB Infrastructure Trust, a privately listed SEBI-registered infrastructure investment trust.
IRB InvIT Fund reported a consolidated turnover of Rs 1,110.24 crore, profit after tax of Rs 355.84 crore, and a net worth of Rs 3,806.88 crore in FY25. The proposed transaction remains subject to necessary governmental and regulatory approvals.
