Inox Wind Limited (IWL), India’s leading provider of wind energy solutions, has announced significant progress on its landmark 990 MW turnkey wind power project. This massive order is part of a 1,500 MW framework agreement signed with Purvah Green Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Ltd. Notably, it is the single largest wind order placed by an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in India to date.
Execution is currently in full swing across various sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. Inox Wind has confirmed the receipt of all project-related advances, with phased commissioning scheduled to begin in FY26.
