Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., a leading operations and maintenance (O&M) provider in India’s renewable energy sector, has announced its entry into the solar O&M space. The company has signed an agreement to manage 675 MWp of solar power projects for a major renewable energy firm. These projects are spread across multiple states in India.
This marks a strategic expansion for Inox Green, which has primarily focused on wind energy services until now. By stepping into solar O&M, the company aims to diversify its service offerings and tap into India’s fast-growing solar energy market.
Commenting on the development, S K Mathusudhana, CEO of Inox Green, stated that the company sees strong growth potential in solar O&M. He emphasized Inox Green’s focus on leveraging its experience and network in the renewable energy sector to scale its solar portfolio.
India’s solar energy capacity has been growing steadily, supported by policy initiatives and increasing demand for clean energy. With this move, Inox Green positions itself to serve a broader segment of the renewable energy industry.
This agreement aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in the renewable energy services space and support long-term asset performance for its clients.
