Indo Count Industries Limited (ICIL) has announced the establishment of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in North Carolina, marking a significant expansion of its presence across the East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest regions of the United States.
Key Highlights of the Expansion:
- New Facility: Indo Count Global East Inc., a subsidiary of ICIL, will launch the facility in North Carolina to strengthen its utility bedding business in the U.S.
- Production Capacity: The new plant is expected to produce 18 million pillows annually to cater to growing demand.
- Investment: The project involves an estimated investment of $15 million, structured through a 75:25 debt-equity funding model.
- Manufacturing Footprint: This new plant will complement Indo Count’s existing U.S. facilities in Phoenix, Arizona (West Coast) and Columbus, Ohio (Midwest), enhancing its operational capabilities.
- Revenue Impact: Indo Count expects aggregate revenue of approximately $175 million across its three U.S. manufacturing units once the facility becomes fully operational.
- Increased Capacity: With this addition, Indo Count’s total annual U.S. manufacturing capacity will increase to 31 million pillows and 1.5 million quilts across its three locations.
