Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) has reported its highest-ever loan sanctions and disbursements for the financial year 2023-24, marking a 12% growth in total income and achieving a record net profit. As of March 31, 2024, HUDCO’s loan book size saw a significant increase of 15%, reaching ₹92,654 crore.

The company’s new status as a Non-Banking Financial Company – Infrastructure Finance Company has broadened its financing capabilities, allowing HUDCO to diversify its financial support to infrastructure and affordable housing projects across various sectors. This expansion aligns with its goal to contribute effectively to the nation’s development and infrastructure growth.

Shares of HUDCO closed 0.89% lower at ₹234.85 on NSE
