HMA Agro Industries Limited has taken a strategic step towards expanding its business by entering into a Facilities Agreement with Marya Frozen Agro Food Products Private Limited. This partnership aims to strengthen HMA Agro’s operations in the slaughtering, chilling, processing, freezing, and packing of frozen halal boneless buffalo meat.
Marya Frozen Agro boasts a robust processing capacity of 298.00 metric tons per day, enhancing HMA Agro’s ability to meet growing market demands. Under this agreement, Marya Frozen Agro will handle all necessary certifications for processing goods and ensure comprehensive insurance coverage for its manufacturing facility. The agreement, effective from March 3, 2025, will remain valid for two years.
Despite this collaboration, HMA Agro holds no shareholding in Marya Frozen Agro, and the two companies are not related entities. Additionally, this transaction does not fall under related party transactions as per SEBI Listing Regulations.
By leveraging Marya Frozen Agro’s well-established infrastructure, HMA Agro Industries aims to scale up its production capacity and reinforce its position in the frozen halal meat industry.
