Hitachi Energy India Ltd. has announced the appointment of Vishal Dewan as its new Head of Marketing & Sales – India and Senior Management Personnel, effective October 1, 2025. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting on August 20, 2025.
Dewan, who will also serve as a member of the Country Management Committee (CMC), succeeds Karthik Krishnamurthi, who will be taking up a new role within the Hitachi Group.
With over 33 years of experience in the petrochemicals and energy sectors, Dewan has held leadership roles in Reliance Industries, Owens Corning, ABB, and most recently as Country Manager of Hitachi Energy in Malaysia. An instrumentation engineer from Pune University, he has also completed executive management programs at IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad.
