Hindalco Industries Ltd., the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group, has introduced a new brand identity as part of its transformation from a raw materials supplier to an engineered solutions provider. The company aims to redefine industries such as electric mobility, renewable energy, semiconductors, and high-end electronics through innovation and strategic alliances.
The new identity, launched by Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, emphasizes Hindalco’s commitment to sustainability, circularity, and precision engineering under the tagline “Engineering Better Futures.” The company will invest ₹45,000 crore across its aluminium, copper, and specialty alumina businesses to develop next-generation high-precision engineered products.

Hindalco is strengthening its partnerships across industries, from automotive and electric vehicles to aerospace and defense. It has played a key role in ISRO’s Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan missions, supplying high-performance materials. The company is also developing specialized aluminium and copper materials for battery manufacturing, supporting India’s push toward energy storage solutions.
Managing Director Satish Pai highlighted that Hindalco’s transition will redefine India’s manufacturing sector by fostering innovation and enhancing recyclability, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
With 52 manufacturing units across 10 countries, Hindalco remains a global leader in aluminium production, copper manufacturing, and sustainable metals recycling.
