HFCL Limited on Wednesday informed that its material subsidiary, HTL Limited, has bagged a contract worth approximately Rs 101.82 crore from the Indian Army. The order is for the supply of Tactical Optical Fiber Cables (TOFC) and related accessories, with execution scheduled by August 2026.

According to the company, the indigenously manufactured TOFC solution is designed for mission-critical battlefield operations. These specialized cables are built to withstand the weight of heavy armored vehicles and come equipped with military-grade connectors suitable for extreme and demanding environments. The cables are lightweight, portable, and can be carried by infantry personnel in a backpack, ensuring high mobility and rapid deployment of communication links in challenging terrains.

The contract, awarded by the Indian Army, falls under general contract conditions and will be executed domestically. HFCL clarified that the order was received in the normal course of business and does not fall within related-party transactions.

The latest win further strengthens HFCL’s presence in the defense communications segment, where it continues to deliver indigenously developed, high-performance fiber optic solutions.
