Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, reported strong retail momentum in April 2025, recording 5.11 lakh VAHAN registrations for its ICE two-wheelers. The company dispatched 305,406 units during the month, comprising 286,089 motorcycles and 19,317 scooters.

The company had temporarily halted production between April 17–19 across its major manufacturing plants in Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar, and Neemrana to align supply chains and execute scheduled maintenance. Operations are expected to normalize in May.

VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, continued its upward trajectory with 7,116 dispatches of the VIDA V2 scooter and 6,123 VAHAN registrations, reflecting a significant YoY increase.

On the international front, Hero launched four new models — Xoom 110, Hunk 160R 4V, Xtreme 125R, and HF Deluxe — in Sri Lanka in collaboration with Abans Auto. These will be supported by a growing network of 500+ customer touchpoints across the country.

In a strategic brand move, Hero MotoCorp also announced a three-year global ambassador partnership with professional golfers Akshay Bhatia and Sahith Theegala to bolster international brand visibility.
