Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially entered the French market through a new partnership with GD France, marking its 52nd international market. The move follows the company’s recent expansions in Italy, Spain, and the UK, further strengthening its European presence.
The French debut was hosted at the UTAC Mortefontaine proving ground near Paris, a renowned testing and validation facility. The event featured immersive riding experiences for guests, who got the first glimpse of the new Hunk 440, the company’s Euro 5+ compliant motorcycle designed for performance enthusiasts.
Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President of Hero MotoCorp, said, “Our entry into France marks another milestone in our journey of global expansion. The launch of the Hunk 440 reflects our understanding of French riders’ expectations for reliability, quality, and performance.”
Hero MotoCorp’s Euro 5+ range, led by the Hunk 440, will be available through 30+ sales and service outlets across France initially, expanding to 50+ dealers by 2026 and achieving full deployment by 2028. The model will come with a starting price of €3,599 (including VAT) in Twilight Blue and Phantom Black colours.
The Hunk 440 features a 36 Nm torque at 4000 rpm, 27 bhp power at 6000 rpm, a steel trellis frame, dual-channel ABS, and USD Cartridge Forks by KYB, offering a blend of style, stability, and control. Hero MotoCorp is also offering a 5-year warranty (3-year standard + 2-year special launch offer) for added customer assurance.
