HDFC Bank has shared its key business updates for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The figures reflect steady growth in both advances and deposits compared to the same period last year and the previous quarter.

Advances
For the September 2025 quarter, the bank’s average advances under management stood at ₹27,946 billion, up 9% from ₹25,639 billion in September 2024, and 1.9% higher than ₹27,423 billion in June 2025. By the end of the quarter, advances under management reached approximately ₹28,690 billion, marking a growth of 8.9% year-on-year (YoY) and 3.1% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). Gross advances at period end totaled ₹27,690 billion, up nearly 10% from a year ago.

Deposits
Average deposits for the quarter were ₹27,105 billion, reflecting a 15.1% YoY increase and 2% QoQ growth. Average CASA deposits were ₹8,770 billion, up 8.5% from last year, while average time deposits rose 18.6% YoY to ₹18,335 billion.

At the end of September 2025, total deposits reached around ₹28,015 billion, a 12.1% increase from the previous year. CASA deposits were ₹9,490 billion, up 7.4% YoY, and time deposits stood at ₹18,525 billion, a 14.6% rise from September 2024.
