HCLTech has officially joined the AI Verify Foundation, marking a major step in its push toward advancing Responsible AI practices. The announcement was made through a stock exchange filing dated December 1, 2025, in which the company confirmed its membership in the global non-profit open-source foundation.
The AI Verify Foundation brings together a global community of AI developers, policymakers, researchers and technology providers focused on strengthening trust, transparency and governance in artificial intelligence systems. Through this membership, HCLTech will contribute to shaping international standards and best practices for ethical AI deployment.
According to the document, HCLTech’s internal Responsible AI framework—built on principles such as accountability, fairness, security, privacy, transparency and ethics—is closely aligned with the foundation’s AI Verify Testing Framework, which is based on 11 internationally recognised AI governance principles.
Heather Domin, Vice President and Head of the Office of Responsible AI and Governance at HCLTech, said the company is committed to helping enterprises adopt AI responsibly, noting that transparency and collaboration will be central to this global transformation.
The filing also highlights HCLTech’s broader ecosystem credibility in Responsible AI. The company is already a member of the Responsible AI Institute, a signatory to the EU AI Pact, and has been recognised by Microsoft as a Responsible AI Partner. It has also received the AI Governance Verification Badge and has been named among the world’s most ethical companies for the second consecutive year.
HCLTech currently employs over 226,600 people across 60 countries and reported consolidated revenues of $14.2 billion for the 12 months ending September 2025.
