HCLTech has announced the establishment of a new AI and cloud-native lab in Singapore. Supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), this lab will be HCLTech’s fifth global center dedicated to advancing AI capabilities, set to open in 2025.

The Singapore lab aims to support enterprises in their AI-driven initiatives by leveraging HCLTech’s suite of integrated AI and GenAI solutions. The lab will work in partnership with institutions like Nanyang Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic, focusing on knowledge sharing and nurturing emerging talent in AI.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCLTech, highlighted the collaboration with Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and the EDB as a step toward enhancing AI skills in the region. This initiative aligns with Singapore’s broader National AI Strategy, which emphasizes responsible and effective AI innovation.
