Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. (HCC) has received a new order from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd. (MSRDC) for the construction of a two-lane cable-stayed bridge across Agardanda Creek in Raigad District, Maharashtra. The contract is valued at Rs 1,031.6 crore, excluding applicable GST and provisional sums.

The project is part of the Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway (MSH-04) and aims to improve connectivity across the region. The total length of the bridge will be 4.3 km, which includes 45 meters of approach on the Agardanda side and 145 meters on the Dighi side, along with a cable-stayed superstructure for two navigation spans totalling 420 meters. The bridge will provide critical access near Agardanda Jetty and Dighi Port, with a vertical clearance of 15 meters and horizontal clearance of 100 meters to allow for marine navigation.

HCC will execute the project in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode and is expected to complete it within 36 months. This development will not only enhance connectivity but also significantly reduce travel time and promote the economic development of the region.
