HBL Engineering Limited (formerly HBL Power Systems Limited) has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway for a contract worth Rs 148.44 crore, inclusive of GST. The order has been awarded to the HBL-Shivakriti Consortium, with HBL serving as the lead member.
The contract involves the provision of KAVACH in multiple railway sections, including the Bina-Itarsi-Jujharpur section, the BPL-SHRN section, and the UP and DN flyover track from Jujharpur to Powarkheda. The project is expected to be completed within 540 days.
HBL Engineering confirmed that none of its promoters or promoter group has any interest in the entity to which the contract has been awarded. Additionally, the transaction does not fall under the category of related party transactions.
