Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) has achieved a significant milestone by signing a breakthrough Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PWD Nagaland for the supply of eight Double Lane Modular Steel Bridges. This marks the first-ever MoU between GRSE and a North Eastern state, reinforcing India’s Make in India initiative for regional development.

The MoU was signed on March 19, 2025, in Kohima by DIG Subrato Ghosh, ICG (Retd.), Director (Personnel), GRSE, and Shri Swarai Meru, Chief Engineer, PWD Nagaland, in the presence of Shri Natarajan Partheepan, General Manager (Bailey Bridges), GRSE.

GRSE has an impressive track record of supplying over 5,800 Modular Bridges to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL), various state governments, and neighboring countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

With this MoU, GRSE continues to play a vital role in strengthening infrastructure in India’s North Eastern region, ensuring better connectivity and economic growth.

In the meantime Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) shares opened today at ₹1,710, reaching a high of ₹1,747.65 and a low of ₹1,682. The stock remains volatile, with a 52-week high of ₹2,833.80 and a low of ₹744.
