Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the e-mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited (GCL), has joined forces with Indofast Energy, a joint venture between Indian Oil and SUN Mobility, to transform last-mile transportation for B2B fleets and ride-sharing services. This strategic partnership introduces the Ampere ‘Magnus SW.S’, powered by Indofast Energy’s cutting-edge battery-swapping technology, delivering efficiency and convenience for gig economy riders traveling over 100 km daily.

The Ampere ‘Magnus SW.S’ is designed to enhance fleet efficiency by minimizing downtime through quick battery swaps. Leveraging Indofast Energy’s rapidly expanding battery-swapping network, riders can seamlessly replace depleted batteries with fully charged ones, reducing operational costs and improving productivity.

Equipped with a 2.4 kW motor, the Magnus SW.S ensures smooth rides even on steep gradients, carrying heavy loads, or accommodating pillion riders in ride-share operations. With a payload capacity of 151 kg, this e-scooter is ideal for high-performance, heavy-duty use. Additionally, its IoT-enabled features enhance connectivity and enable efficient fleet management, making it a perfect solution for businesses and individual riders alike.

This partnership aligns with Greaves’ mission of ‘Empowering Lives’ and ‘Democratizing Smart and Sustainable Mobility’, while also supporting Indofast Energy’s vision of making battery swapping the default charging solution. By integrating smart energy solutions with innovative e-mobility technology, Greaves and Indofast Energy are paving the way for a cleaner, more efficient transportation ecosystem.
