The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) has successfully delivered its 2011-built Supramax dry bulk carrier, Jag Rishi, to its buyers. The sale was finalized in January 2025, marking another strategic move in the company’s fleet management.

Following this sale, G E Shipping’s current fleet stands at 38 vessels, comprising 26 tankers (5 crude carriers, 17 product carriers, and 4 LPG carriers) and 12 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 8 Kamsarmax, and 2 Supramax), with a total capacity of 3.04 million DWT.

Great Eastern Shipping Q3 results

Great Eastern Shipping has recently reported its Q3 FY2024 financial results, showing a 10.2% increase in sales to ₹1,354.40 crore. However, despite the revenue growth, net profit dipped by 3.21%, standing at ₹575.57 crore compared to ₹594.66 crore in Q3 FY2023.
