GPT Infraprojects Limited (GPTINFRA) has secured a new contract valued at ₹204 crore. The order was awarded by the South Eastern Railway’s CAO Construction division in Kolkata. This project involves the construction of two Road Over Bridges (ROBs) in West Bengal.
The first part of the contract includes building a 3-lane road overbridge between Andul and Sankrail stations. The second part involves the construction of a 2-lane bridge between Nalpur and Bauria stations. Both bridges are part of efforts to replace level crossings in the Howrah-Kharagpur section.
GPT Infraprojects is well-known for its infrastructure projects, particularly in the railway sector. The company specializes in constructing large bridges and road overbridges, and also manufactures concrete sleepers for railways in India and Africa.
With this new contract, GPTINFRA’s order book now stands at ₹3,979 crore, reflecting its strong presence in the infrastructure sector.
