GPT Infraprojects Limited has announced a major contract win worth Rs 481.11 crore from the South Eastern Railway. The order pertains to the construction of the vital Bridge No. 57 over the Rupnarayan River, part of the Howrah-Kharagpur railway route. The project will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) mode.

According to the official release, the project includes 2×30.5m OWG, 7×91.4m OWG, and 2×30.5m OWG spans, alongside viaducts on either approach (11×30.5m + 15×30.5m Composite Girders), and the construction of Kolaghat Station with elevated Platforms 1 and 2. The infrastructure works fall under the Kharagpur Division and aim to bolster rail connectivity and safety.

There is no promoter or related party interest involved in this deal, and the company has not highlighted any significant special conditions attached to the order.

With this project, GPTINFRA’s total order inflow for FY25 has touched Rs 1,521.46 crore, and its overall outstanding order book now stands at Rs 3,813.44 crore. The company, a key player in the railway infrastructure sector, operates in both the Infrastructure and Sleeper segments and has a global presence in countries like South Africa, Namibia, and Ghana.
