Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) announced that it has resumed normal operations at its 1.8 MTPA Iron Ore Pellet Plant located at Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, effective October 30, 2025.

The company had earlier reported a temporary shutdown following an unfortunate incident during a routine inspection on September 26, 2025. Operations were halted as a safety and precautionary measure while necessary assessments and repairs were carried out.

During the shutdown period, the company reported a production loss of around 1,50,000 metric tonnes of iron ore pellets. However, GPIL expressed confidence that it will still be able to meet its annual production targets for FY26, as no further maintenance shutdowns are expected for the rest of the financial year.

Godawari Power and Ispat is a leading integrated steel manufacturer with operations spanning across mining, iron ore pellets, sponge iron, steel billets, and power generation. The resumption of operations at its Raipur plant is expected to restore production momentum and support overall output growth in the coming quarters.
