Goa Carbon Ltd. announced on Monday, September 29, that it has resumed operations at its Paradeep Unit in Jagatsinghpur, Odisha. The company informed the stock exchanges that the kiln at the facility has been lit up, and after preliminary heating and feeding of raw materials, normal production is expected to commence shortly.

The Paradeep plant, located at Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, had been under suspension since early July 2025. With operations now restarted, the unit is set to contribute again to the company’s overall production capacity.

Goa Carbon, part of the Dempo Group, operates three plants across Goa, Paradeep, and Bilaspur, manufacturing calcined petroleum coke for domestic and international markets.

The company assured exchanges that the resumption marks a key step in stabilising output levels after the temporary disruption.
