GK Energy Limited has received a major boost after securing a Letter of Empanelment/Letter of Award from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 13,239 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across the state.

According to the stock exchange filing dated December 11, 2025, the project is valued at ₹366.63 crore (inclusive of GST) and will be executed under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme.

Scope of Work

As per the annexure in the filing, the order includes:

  • Design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of solar water pump systems
  • Pump capacities: 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP
  • Completion timeline: within 60 days from issuance of NTP/work order
  • Nature of contract: one-time domestic order

Project Significance

This order is a major milestone for GK Energy as the company expands its participation in India’s rapidly growing solar agriculture infrastructure sector. The PM-KUSUM programme aims to solarise irrigation across the country, reducing dependency on grid power and diesel pumps.
