GAIL (India) Limited reported a standalone net profit of ₹2,049.03 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, down nearly 6% from ₹2,176.97 crore recorded in Q4 FY24.

Total income for the quarter rose to ₹36,273.87 crore, compared to ₹32,972.10 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations stood at ₹35,707.45 crore, up from ₹32,334.50 crore year-on-year.

Expenses increased to ₹33,572.80 crore in Q4 FY25, primarily due to higher stock-in-trade purchases amounting to ₹28,943.92 crore. Profit before tax stood at ₹2,701.07 crore.

The company’s total tax expense for the quarter came in at ₹652.04 crore, marginally lower than ₹664.79 crore in the same period last year.

For the full year FY25, GAIL reported a net profit of ₹11,312.32 crore, compared to ₹8,836.48 crore in FY24, while annual revenue rose to ₹1,37,287.56 crore from ₹1,30,638.11 crore.
