G R Infraprojects Ltd. has emerged as the selected bidder for a significant infrastructure project awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), under the Ministry of Road, Transport & Highways, Government of India. The company secured the contract in the financial bid opening held on March 13, 2025.

The awarded project involves the construction and development of the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Road, a key initiative aimed at improving connectivity across Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. This ambitious project comprises two major sections. The first section includes the development of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway, covering a stretch from Deori village in Agra to Susera village in Gwalior. The second section involves overlaying, strengthening, and executing road safety enhancements on the existing Agra-Gwalior section of NH-44.

With a total contract value of INR 4,262.78 crores, this project will be executed under the DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer) pattern at BOT (Toll) mode. The completion timeline is set at 910 days from the appointed date, ensuring timely infrastructure development to boost regional connectivity and economic growth.

The news of the project win came after the markets had closed. G R Infraprojects’ shares closed at ₹960.00. The stock hit a high of ₹986.20 and a low of ₹955.00 during the session.
